Comparing


I have arranged the changes of the last few years. He is clearly changing. And I said goodbye to the previous version of Blender and now I am creating a character with ver.2.8. "Eevee" improves work efficiency. It gives me results instantly. I am very happy that the verification process can be greatly reduced. The following is not yet complete, but I have repeated trials and errors of expression with these new shaders.

Shader

After all, I chose a shader based on the use of “Eevee”. There were several candidates, but my favorite was “Eevee Toon Shaders (2.8)”. I also tried using "Toon-Pro (Eevee & Cycles)", but I didn't like the results of operability and expression. I am currently searching for an original expression method based on "Eevee Toon Shaders (2.8)". What should be noted is the splendor of “Eevee”. It can get almost the same rendering result in the viewport. This greatly improves work efficiency and shakes the sensitivity of the expressor.

Ver. 2020

I started working on the 2020 version. The character design has changed slightly and the rig system needs to be reviewed again. And Blender 2.8 comes with an interesting renderer called “EEVEE”. This rendering speed seems to be much faster. Does this increase work efficiency? I have a great expectation.

I backed home from Greece last midnight. I got nice memories and good experiences in there. And I made many new friends. Already, I miss them.

Editing

I'm making a new animation for a roll class in Greece. The rendering has already ended and I have connected the piece of film. This will be the basis of “Basic rolls”. And this animation will be released to you after "Greece". Please wait for a while.

Released!

Finally a new version is released. I was looking forward to this day. There are endless possibilities. I will use this miraculous tool to create more roll animations. However, It may require time and effort. In other words, I need to create a new character for the new version. Anyway, I will entertain you again. For SSTIKS and Comox

I'm making some new animations for SSTIKS and Comox roll classes. They are five basic Greenland rolls as Side Sculling, Standard Roll, Chest Sculling, Reverse Sweep Roll and Storm Roll. I think this is a change and progress in the roll lectures. New items

I prepared new items. They are "Qaanaaq Transam-ss" and "Qaanaaq Mosquito". I will use them for my roll classes. So you can do roll practicing with them whenever you come to my place, Futtsu Japan. (^^)/

What is the best setting?

I am making roll animations for presentation at SSTIKS. The current problem is the best setting in lighting and rendering. No matter how good the animation is, if the result of rendering is dirty, it spoils everything. Parameters of bargaining will interfere with my decision.

Making a SEA

In my new animation requires the "environment". They will be at least "sky" and "sea". Blender has several physical simulations. I have established the "environment" with these. The parameters of wave generation and object resistance are complex. Beyond that, control of 'looks' is an important issue for me. It depends on shaders, materials, textures. I will still need to spend a lot of time working on combining them on the node editor.

New Gears from Canada


I got new gears from Joe O'blenis. I am honored to be able to use his paddles. He is an excellent paddle maker and also an excellent kayaker. The same as Chungshih Sun who gave me a carbon paddle the other day. He is also an excellent kayaker and an excellent manager. I believe gears made by guys rich in kayak practical experience. Yes, they are just right for Stormtroopers. Why do you use products from makers poor in kayaking experience? Is there reliability?

In winter practice

Every year I use this cream for winter training. It will generate heat in response to muscle movement. So it's perfect for roll practice in winter. Probably, it may be difficult to obtain this in Japan. How about in your country? I asked my friend in Hungary to buy this from his country. Anyway, something innovative is necessary to enrich the practice in winter. Please let me know your idea about it,

Hi guys,
2019 will be one of the turning points for STORM ON. I intend to enhance roll classes abroad, and at the same time I will do similar support in Japan. I will also concentrate on creating animation and will make it a powerful support tool. If you have some requests about it, please contact me at anytime. I'll welcome you always.
